Rhythm roguelike action game Ratatan was scheduled to launch on July 16, but the anticipated title has now been delayed to mid-October. Developer Ratata Arts will continue to work on improvements, including enhancing multiplayer stability and fixing bugs, all based on the feedback gathered from the game’s time in Early Access on Steam. There are also adjustments being made across different platforms to create a stable gaming experience.

“In our initial development plan, we didn’t expect to do Early Access and then adjust the game to the level that we did based on that feedback,” says Kazuto Sakajiri, Ratatan’s Producer, in an announcement on Steam. “Of course, due to that feedback, Ratatan is even better than we planned. However, online support, building the game out for a large number of platforms, and improving the overall game experience have meant that we needed more development time.”

They might fail, then fail some more, but they never give up!

The Ratatans can be moved freely, so the ability to know when to give orders, where to position the Ratatans, and when to retreat.
