FallenCranberry and Okasan’s Recipe have announced that the dark dating sim and psychological horror visual novel Lover’s Enigma will be released for PC in two weeks. The game blends romance with an unsettling mystery. Players are invited into a story where love, grief, and hidden truths collide. The game features emotional storytelling, branching choices, and eerie psychological tension. It will first launch in English, with plans to expand to additional languages (and platforms) based on community feedback.
In Lover’s Enigma, take on the role of a woman in her late twenties. Her heart is shattered by the sudden and mysterious death of her new husband. As you search for the truth behind the death, you’ll become entangled in love, grief, and the shadow of a dangerous cult. Four male leads are each connected to you in a deeply personal way. Some may want to help you heal, while others will hide their true intentions. Some may even blur the line between protector and threat. Your decisions will determine your fate.
The branching story routes reveal different perspectives on the mystery. Characters will remember how you treat them, shaping relationships and determining your ending. Will you find love? Closure? Or something far more disturbing?
