Ink-style action roguelite game Realm of Ink has been available in Early Access for PC since September 2024, and now it’s poised to launch for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox this May alongside PC’s 1.0 update. The title blends Chinese-inspired ink-style art, modern 2.5D presentation, and razor-sharp combat. It follows Red, a swordswoman trapped inside a world painted in ink. While hunting, she discovers the truth: her story has already been written. She must rewrite her story page by page, carving through illusion and defying destiny, to escape.
In addition to the release date announcement, developer Leap Studio has announced a collaboration with 91Act to bring Oread, the formidable Stage 4 boss from BlazBlue Entropy Effect, into Realm of Ink as a fully playable character. She will arrive in style, armed with a powerful new Ink Gem, two exclusive Ink Pet skins, and a set of devastating new perks designed to complement her unique combat prowess.
In Realm of Ink, death is not defeat — it’s rebirth. Each run helps reshape the narrative, which unlocks new combat forms, supernatural abilities, and evolving ‘Story Relics.’ Red will encounter more than 20 mythical Chinese beings, and four powerful bosses try to keep Red inkbound. With every slash, inch closer to breaking the cycle and writing a new ending.
Publisher 4Divinity has also revealed a new trailer filled with never-before-seen gameplay footage and stunning cinematics. It gives prospective players a taste of the hunting environments and evolving story.

Developed by Leap Studio and published by 4Divinity, Realm of Ink will be released as a 1.0 version for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series on May 26. A demo is available now for PC and Xbox.
