North Star Video Games has a free update ready for Spray Paint Simulator, and it will launch later this week for PC and Xbox. In the relaxing simulation game, players start a business, bringing colour back to the town of Splatterville by using spray paint to restore worn objects, rooms, vehicles, and more. The update brings new jobs to the game and includes quality-of-life fixes.
The bulk of Spray Paint Simulator is played in Story Mode, which unlocks free play versions of each level as they are completed. Meet an eccentric group of clients who need your help to prep the space, choose the right colours, and paint to perfection. Tools, vehicles, and equipment are all upgradeable; ladders, scaffolding, and a cherry picker will help lift you to new heights. Free Spray mode includes co-op.
This upcoming update includes three new jobs: a cow sculpture, a rocker, and a dragon. Each lets players pick their own colours to complete the job. There are unlockable new skins for your spray tool for those interested in matching their gear. (There was a bug where you couldn’t change your outfit; hopefully that gets fixed.) Story Mode co-op is added, allowing two players to paint together in those levels. The update is rounded out with quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.
Here are the key features of the update, via Whitethorn Games:
- More content: Tackle three brand-new painting jobs! Let your creativity moo-ve you with a new cow sculpture. Let your imagination soar as you paint a rocket! And paint a dragon to look truly fire!
- Multiple colour jobs: You’re no longer limited to the colours that the client asks for! Paint, paint, and paint again in any colour palette you choose! Create vibrant designs, go minimalist, or show off your wildest color combinations! Your style, your way!
- Multi-player career: Career mode now supports multiplayer co-op, so you can team up with friends to share the workload and complete jobs in half the time… or maybe more time, depending on whether you prefer to work or play. Creativity is more fun with a crew!
- New skins for spray tools: Stand out on the job! Unlock and equip new customization skins for your spray tool. Personalize your gear to match your painting vibe.
Developed by North Star Video Games and published by Whitethorn Games, Spray Paint Simulator is available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series. The new update will be released for PC and Xbox on November 14, with the other two versions launching soon.
