The 24 games of Christmas! Day #4: Super Bomberman R 2

2 mins read

It’s that time of year again! We’re counting down the days to Christmas with our own little “advent calendar” – one new game to play over the holiday season each and every day.

As the year winds down, things get really busy. We’ve got Christmas parties to attend, the end of year rush on work, and all the rest of it. But it’s also a time where we take holidays, find a moment to relax, and enjoy the company of others. This is the best chance to catch up on some key games that you might have missed from the year… or just play that multiplayer game that you’ve been waiting to get a crew together for.

Day 4: Super Bomberman R 2

Read our review here.

Of course Christmas means multiplayer time. And, ideally, it means multiplayer with family and friends, and a game that’s accessible to everyone, because not everyone is necessarily a serious gamer through the rest of the year. That’s where Bomberman comes in, and this year’s Bomberman was, pardon the pun, dynamite.

Not only does it have the ever-popular classical Bomberman action, but it also has a bevvy of new modes, and most spectaularly, siege mode. That’s where an entire team of Bomberfolk need to successfully break into a zone and steal chests… but it’s not easy when there’s one Bomberman in defence with all kinds of traps in support. Every second of Bomberman is a riot and will make for some real memories this Christmas.
