Not every game has to be a content-filled epic to be worth your time and money. In fact, some of the most powerful, thought-provoking, and touching games are those that have the confidence to be short, sharp, and to the point.

These are all games that would have been ruined if they didn’t resist the game industry’s inclination towards long experiences. Each of the four award-winning titles here are valuable in that they are purposefully brief. When you’ve next got a couple of hours spare, be sure to give one of these a run.
