It goes without saying that visuals are critical to the video game experience. But so often we are led to believe that it’s the most technically brilliant visuals in the AAA-blockbusters that are the “best graphics.” We would suggest that art direction is much more important, and the more distinctive and interesting, the better the game’s “graphics”.
