Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions – Why I love this game

Captain Tsubasa took me by surprise – I wasn’t expecting Tamsoft (a company better know for fanservicey girlie games and JRPGs) would be able to produce a wonderful football game that is both highly accessible, and a quality throwback to the football games I loved playing when growing up.

This video, which goes with my written review on DDNet, looks at what it is that I found so appealing about this game – even as someone who had never seen the anime or read the manga previously.

Are you a fan of Captain Tsubasa? Say hi in the comments!
