Puzzle & Dragons Gold is coming to the west

Puzzle & Dragons has faded a bit from its peak, where it was THE name in mobile gaming, but there nonetheless remains a core audience for it, and with good reason – it’s a simple, elegant match-3 puzzle series, and everyone likes a good match-3.

Puzzle & Dragons Gold had been announced for Nintendo Switch, but a western release wasn’t confirmed. That is, until now. Puzzle & Dragons Gold will release in North America late this year.

It will be a multiplayer-focused title, which means plenty of hard match-3 battles lie ahead for fans. And, we’re told, the team is working hard to make sure the game is as much like the anime as possible.

No doubt we’ll hear more about this one as it gets closer to release.
