The 24 games of Christmas! Game #20: Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns

1 min read

It’s that time of year again! The decorations are out, the house smells of Christmas thanks to the tree in the living room, presents are sitting under the tree and all the good food is on the table. We do love Christmas at DDNet, and as always, we’re doing an advent calendar of our own on the site. Each day we’re going to list one game that’s just perfect to play over the Christmas season, so be sure to check back each day to get all the gaming suggestions you’ll need for the season.

Game #20: Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns

Like Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Story of Seasons (formerly Harvest Moon) is a more laid-back style of game that aligns perfectly with holiday sensibilities. Love, friendship, and community are strong themes here, particularly in this entry since you’ll be regularly corresponding with your family. Furthermore, the games are built around giving gifts to others, which helps spread the sentiment that it is better to give than to receive. Trio of Towns is easy to drop in for a couple in-game days or binge entire real-life days depending on your level of commitment.

…but if you want the ultimate Christmas gift this year, go fetch the DLC that lets you marry a pun-obsessed dog-man.
