But this isn’t just any old version of The Witch and the Hundred Knight, it’s the Revival Edition! Matt, our very own editor-in-chief, enjoyed the original version on the PlayStation 3; he called it a niche JRPG that becomes an enjoyable take on a dark fairy tale after you put a bit of work into it.

The game looks extremely promising on the PS4, with shiny new textures, lighting, and models utilizing the console’s increased power over the PS3. For the first time, players can summon and play as the witch. There is also an entirely new area called the Tower of Illusion. Take a look at the trailer:

For anyone unfamiliar with the story, Metallia the witch makes a contract with the Hundred Knight (AKA the player). The contract is to help Metallia spread the swamp through the land of Medea, but the Hundred Knight can’t help but wonder why she would need to and why all other witches shun Metallia.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive. It is available in North America on March 1, 2016, and Europe three days later.
