I have some ver fond memories of Mario games from childhood. Who doesn’t? From my first experience with Super Mario Bros. 3 on a TV encased in wood to beating my sister in Mario Golf, every game was great to me. Mario Tennis was no different, but I’ll be honest – I was far less great at Mario Tennis than I was any other Mario game. Still, that never stopped me from playing, and I know I wasn’t alone in my love of the series.
Now, after being announced at E3, the newest Mario Tennis is almost within reach! Nintendo has announced that Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash will be released on November 20, AKA just in time for holiday shopping madness.

While a full roster of characters has yet to be released, we do know some information about Ultra Smash. It adds a new Jumpshot ability, where the character jumps into the air and slams the ball down. There is also a new Mega Mushroom power-up that makes characters grow in both size and strength.
