It seems that after the success that Telltale Games has had with episodic games, other developers have been inspired to mirror the release style.

One such developer is Australia’s own Epiphany Games, which has announced a six-part episodic role-playing thriller. This is set in an alternate 1980s where all conspiracy theories are true and the panopticon is alive and kicking. You’ll get to play as an intelligence operative and you’ll get to do investigations, stealth, and puzzle solving to work through the conspiracies.

The first episode will entice people into the world by being free, and then you’ll buy the other five chapters as they’re released. Epiphany Games is also promising a season pass.

Colour us interested – Epiphany Games is a talented studio behind such games as Frozen Hearth, Runic Rumble and Aki and Plizkin: Codex of Ancients.

There’s also a brief  trailer, which you can watch below.
