As some of you know, I’m a supreme sucker for a good story, but nothing pushes me into an emotive belly-trance quite like a killer original soundtrack. And from what can be heard from its recent trailer, Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star’s music is going to be freaking glorious.

Which is fitting seeing how music and song are the keys to creating magic. Two heroines, Ion, a bit of a mysterious know-it-all who loves engineering and tinkering with machines, and Casty, a cheerful human girl and member of the Genomis Task Force, are said to be capable of utilizing such talents.

From top to bottom: Ion and Casty

The trailer also gives us a clear look at the quality of the artwork and English voice acting, as well as a vague but welcome story synopsis and gander at how Song Magic works.

Take a look and a listen, then express your first impression of the adventure bound for Europe on September 26th.
