Supergiant Games has announced that its upcoming title, Transistor, will launch both for PC and PlayStation 4 on May 20th, as detailed on the game’s blog.

This futuristic turn-based strategy follows Red, a young singer who comes into possession of a mysterious and powerful sword called ‘The Transistor’, as they are both pursued by an entity known as The Process. Transistor is Supergiant Games’ second title, with its debut game Bastion releasing back in 2011 to critical acclaim.

The game will be priced at $19.99/€18.99/£14.99, and while it will only feature English voice acting, there will be text in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese. The worldwide launch is set for May 20th, and while there is no word on a demo or pre-ordering, eager gamers can play a near-final build running on PlayStation 4 this weekend at PAX East.
