Ripstone has released a trailer for its upcoming PlayStation 4 title, Pure Pool. This game comes to us courtesy of developer VooFoo Studios, who also produced the excellent Hustle Kings, and I’m going to be honest with you, I’ve never seen balls that look this good.
Pool is an odd game because while it’s a simple one, it’s notoriously difficult to get just right in video game form. It requires a complex physics system, and in terms of presentation… well, it’s difficult to make balls look like balls. It’s not easy making spheres out of the shapes that usually go into 3D models.
Hustle Kings really nailed the experience, so we have nothing but massive expectations for this game, and we fully expect that it will make superb use of the advanced PlayStation 4 hardware.
