Sony was swinging a baseball bat and hitting home runs left, right, and centre with its E3 show. Superb pricing, consumer-friendly business models, game after game after game. It was breathtaking and if my Twitter feed is anything to go by Sony just won itself an entire legion of fans.

But we’ll save the analysis of just how great that reveal was for after Nintendo’s had its chance with the Nintendo direct. For now, I’m going to use this opportunity to highlight a new IP that, for me, was a highlight of the show.

The Order combines all kinds of awesome things. Gothic horror monsters, Victorian England. Even a drop of Steampunk. And what happens when you throw all kinds of awesome together? Either something hideous and poorly-formed, or something that is just cool.

The Order is cool.
