Frozen Synapse is Vita and PS3-bound

One of the finest tactics strategy games of all time is headed to the PlayStation 3 and Vita, complete with graphical overhaul.

The good news was confirmed on Twitter, via Ian Hardingham, one of the developers behind the game:

“Double Eleven are bringing a deluxe remake of Frozen Synapse to PS3 and Vita, including a complete graphical overhaul”

Forget Killzone, Gravity Rush or even Soul Sacrifice, this is the best thing to happen to the Vita yet. Frozen Synapse is just perfect for portable gaming, and it is by far the most intelligent, strategically deep games we have played in years.

Boy is Digitally Downloaded’s regular flow of content going to be ruined once we all get our hands on this game. I’m not sure it needs a graphical overhaul – the original game’s visuals are basic but oh-so-slick, but if it sells more copies of a game everyone who likes games should play I am all for it.
