The 24 Games of Christmas! Day #24: Sun Flowers

2 mins read

It’s that time again! Michael Buble’s smooth voice serenades us over the radio with his brilliant rendition of “Let it Snow.” Houses are covered with bright lights, tinsel, green and red colours. Children anxiously count down the days, hoping they were good enough for a visit by Santa.

It’s a magical time, with one other little benefit – most of us also have breaks over Christmas. Breaks means time to play games!

It has been a great year for games, and no doubt there are some great ones that you’ve missed. And so we at Digitally Downloaded will count down to Christmas with one game recommendation for you each day.

Enjoy, and happy holidays!

Ok, there are two reasons that Sun Flowers is the ultimate Christmas game:
1) You buy it on Christmas Eve as a time waster until the big day. It is perfect for that purpose. Why? Because it’s a brilliant time waster. There’s something endlessly charming about the happy art style and simple-yet-challenging gameplay. The good news is because there is so many flowers to  collect in the game that it will last well beyond the New Year
2) On Christmas Day you get a PlayStation Network (or iTunes) card. You buy that AAA-game that you’ve been looking forward to all season, and you’ve got a couple of dollars left over. Sun Flowers is the perfect purchase. It’s different, it’s addictive, and it’s a game you’re likely to be coming back to even as you are done with that AAA-game you bought.
