Nintendo announces new Symphony of the Goddesses tour dates

Miss out on the Legend of Zelda concert series Symphony of the Goddesses? Well have no fear musical adventurer, because Nintendo has just announced a brand new set of dates.

Kicking things off on September 14th (next Friday) is a very cool gathering at the Nintendo World Store at Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. The special event is set to give fans an up close and personal experience with the music (not to mention instruments) of the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses.

In celebration of the tour, the Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City will host a special event on Friday, September 14 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. From 6:00pm through 6:45pm, Ocarina expert David “Docjazz” Ramos will lead an interactive workshop, introducing fans and newcomers to the history of the instrument. From 7:00pm to 8:00pm, an intimate mini-concert will be performed, featuring new arrangements heard only at this event and spanning games such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of TimeThe Legend of Zelda: Twilight PrincessThe Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. From 8:00pm to 9:00pm, attendees can interact with David Ramos and the concert musicians. Event attendees can also take photos with Link cosplay model Li Kovacs and purchase official “Symphony of the Goddesses” merchandise. The first consumers to enter the event will receive a special concert pack that includes a t-shirt, poster, and an Ocarina to use during the Ocarina workshop.

Now that’s well worth a visit, even if you’re not the biggest Zelda fan in the world. If you’re not in or around the City, regular tour dates start up the very next day September 15th. They’ll run right up to the Holidays and come to a close on December 14th.
