Influential is right, they could probably add in ‘controversial’ too. I remember quite a bit of the old media and politician overreacting that we all know and love when the game first dropped. There isn’t too much of that now, but remember when Jack Thompson appearing on Fox News to talk about ‘murder simulators’ was a pretty regular sight? Ahhh, good times…
What's really amazing about this game is going back and realising how primitive it is. The world might be open, but it's also incredibly dull and boring, lol.
