Getting ready to download Max Payne 3 in a few weeks? Here’s what you can expect in the way of retailer bonuses with some system specs thrown in.

Rockstar’s threequel to the classic noir shooter series is all set to drop on May 15th for console and on the 29th for the PC. Now the company has made public some of the digital bonuses that you can expect to add to your hard drive along with the full game.

If you pre-purchase your virtual copy through Steam, Gamestop Impulse (US), Amazon Downloads (US), Gamesplanet, Gamesload, or Gamersgate and you’ll nab a few of the extra stuff that you’d normally get only with the collector’s edition of the game.

Among the incentives are the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack and the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack. There are more goodies too like the ‘Deadly Force Burst’ that’s exclusive to Amazon, so you might want to check with all the participating shops before you commit. Remember, the bullet time you save, may be your own.

And while we’re talking about ‘your own’ stuff, you might want to make sure your rig can handle the game before you consider purchasing at all. And with that in mind:
