Punch out Mr.Dream in the Nintendo Download

More Virtual Console NES goodness this week in the Nintendo Download as the boxing classic makes it’s way to the eShop- minus Mr.Tyson of course.

Even though the version of the game with Iron Mike is the one that everyone remembers so fondly, legal ranglings prevent Punch-Out!! from (probably) ever appearing again in it’s original form. Honestly, it doesn’t affect the game all that much as Tyson was only the final ‘boss’ of the NES title and he’s been replaced with the equally maddening Mr.Dream. The rest of the game’s cartoony cast is unaffected.

Looking for something else this week? There’s also Mini-Golf and a fun puzzler in Zuma’s Revenge. Even the Wii gets in on the action as an SNK classic takes the fight to the console.
