Other than this week’s House Party title, Nexuiz, there isn’t too much to get excited about in this week’s Xbox Live update. If you skipped the Gears 3 DLC though, this might just be your week.
Although, if you’re a big Gear head, you probably have all this stuff already- it is nonetheless a pretty solid week for sales on the shooter’s downloadables. Of particular note is the RAAM’s Shadow mission pack. This single player adventure adds a bunch of new story content to the main Gears 3 game in the form of a prequel taking place before the first title (Gears of War) picks up the war.
As for Nexuiz, it’s an unbelievably fast paced FPS with some very pretty graphics and neat looking play. Think Unreal Tournament from the glory days of PC gaming- but juiced up to the nth degree.
