Join us for some Mario Kart 7?

Yes, it’s not a downloadable game, but there’s a few of us here at Digitally Downloaded who play Mario Kart 7 online – it’s the 3DS multiplayer experience of the year, after all!

If you’re keen to race against us (and beat me…), we’ve set up a thread on our forums. Feel free to sign up and say hi and trade friend codes.

We’ll also be setting up an online community in the near future, so stay tuned!

Meanwhile, good racing!

This is the bio under which all legacy DigitallyDownloaded.net articles are published (as in the 12,000-odd, before we moved to the new Website and platform). This is not a member of the DDNet Team. Please see the article's text for byline attribution.

  • I got the game Sunday when it released here in North America. I'm enjoying it. Will review the game probably on Friday.

On a side note, I hate how GameFAQs does reviews. They post the first rushed reviews from people you KNOW haven't played the game but a day (if even) and give them a spot on the homepage. Ridiculous. How are the people who actually take time to review games supposed to get any publicity?

Anyway, let me know if you'd like to race online sometime.

  • You guys are making it difficult to not leave work and go buy it.. 🙂  Still considering holding off until I complete Super Mario 3D land, but I'll probably break down and get it.

GamesAndBiz I take it from your comments on the forum that there are some areas of MK7 you don't like.  Maybe if you review you can get bashed by lots of anonymous kart fans.

  • I have a couple of issues with the game, yeah. It's still great fun, especially in multiplayer, but I do find that Mario Kart games are starting to lack in terms of innovation.

Still heartily recommend the game to anyone with a 3DS. 🙂
