Hike through the concealed paths of Shadhollow Forest, or take in the salty sea air on the beaches of Parasol Sands. Mossport’s high street is a lively city centre with shops, delicacies, and friendly faces. The Student Village, beneath the façade of Witchbrook College, buzzes with energy thanks to a community of lively young witches. If you need to relax, head to Shadbrooke Cottage and its verdant garden. Down the lane are peaceful farmlands and a secluded fishing spot. Each area connects naturally to the next.

Here are the game’s key features, via Chucklefish:

  • Enroll as a witch-in-training at Witchbrook College.
  • Immerse yourself in the bustling seaside city of Mossport.
  • Learn new magical abilities to support yourself, local businesses, and the community.
  • Make friends and find romance amidst a colourful cast of datable characters.
  • Spend time between classes however you choose; from foraging in the deep woodland, selling crafts at the Sunday Market, taking part in seasonal events, and much, much more!
  • Renovate and customize your cozy woodland cottage and transform the surrounding garden.
  • Express your unique aesthetic with customizable clothing, hair and accessories.
  • Adventure with friends! Up to four players can experience Witchbrook together in online cooperative play.

Developed by Robotality/Chucklefish and published by Chucklefish, Witchbrook will be released for PC via Steam/Microsoft, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Switch, Xbox Series, and Xbox One on January 28, 2027.

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
