Zombie Police: Midsummer Unhappy New Year is a comedy mystery game featuring an eccentric zombie detective. Today, developer Lobstudio shared a November release date for the title and confirmed it will also launch for Nintendo Switch at a later date.
Play as Akemi Kabane, a crime-solving zombie detective. She has two partners, the fearless Detective Zomby and the super-serious Yasu Tamura. Together, they begin to investigate a VTuber involved in a horrific incident. By the end, they need to thwart a supernatural danger that threatens to place a village and its residents into a permanent cold freeze. Akemi’s Zombie Dive ability helps uncover secrets and clues in Shimofuri Village. Dive into suspects and objects to discover new information.

- Expose the Truth – Discover the truth through zombie dives and complete interviews with suspects. Update Yasu’s investigative journal and collect the right testimony and clues to uncover the ultimate truth of Shimofu Village.
- Zombie Skills > Detective Skills – Become an undead gremlin and utilize unique unalive abilities to get an edge in solving the case. Drink poison just to test a theory, spend a night in a freezer, or take Akane’s head off just for fun. Akane is dead, and loving it!

Developed and published by Lobstudio, Zombie Police: Midsummer Unhappy New Year will be released for PC via Steam on November 22.
