SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim's physical Colossal Edition, including a set of character standees, a sticker sheet, and a download card for the game's entrancing, lo-fi-inspired soundtrack.

Saeko: Giantess Dating Sim follows Saeko — who has mysterious abilities — and the people she has shrunk to the size of her thumb. Experience their fates during the day and at night with two separate game systems with different art styles. Play as Rin, the latest addition to Saeko’s collection of shrunken people. She protects you by keeping you and the others in her desk drawer. But watch out, as Saeko has some… interesting… hobbies. During the day, you’re in charge of keeping the group together. You must meet certain Health and Appeal stats to make Saeko’s “wish” come true. The stats determine if the shrunken people live or die. At night, you are allowed out of the drawer to be Saeko’s confidante. Listen to what she has to say, and reply “yes” or “no” as needed.

Developed by Save Havn Studio and published by Hyper Real, SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim will be released for Nintendo Switch digitally on June 25 and physically on August 27. Serenity Forge will distribute the physical version. The game is currently available digitally for PC via Steam/DLsite/Stove.

Rhythm game Stage Tour announced for PC, other platforms

RedOctane Games is a development studio led by rhythm game veterans, so it only makes sense that it is making a rhythm game similar to Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Stage Tour blends familiar, accessible note-highway gameplay with exciting modern twists. It will be released for PC this fall, with more supported platforms being announced later.

“Stage Tour is our love letter to rhythm gaming,” said Simon Ebejer, RedOctane Games head of studio, in a press release. “We want Stage Tour to feel familiar and authentic, but also fresh, utilizing modern technology to connect gamers with the music they love and enjoying a platform that evolves and grows over time. With new instruments and deep charting systems, we’re raising the bar on what we believe a rhythm game can be, while also catering to those wishing to simply enjoy a casual experience and have a good time.”

Developed and self-published by RedOctane Games, Stage Tour will be released for PC via Steam this fall. Other platforms will be announced at a later time.

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
