Currently available for PC, retro platforming adventure game Montezuma’s Revenge – The 40th Anniversary Edition will launch for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox in mid-December. At the same time, physical editions for Nintendo Switch will ship. Montezuma’s Revenge was originally developed by Robert Jaeger and released in the early ’80s. The 40th Anniversary Edition expands the game to 100 rooms and updates the original with 2.5D visuals presented in 16:9 HD.
Montezuma’s Revenge is a multi-room platformer. In the Anniversary Edition, players can choose between two explorers, Pedro or his sister Rosita, to delve into the dangerous ruins and hunt for treasures.
