Last month, publisher NIS America announced it would release Disgaea 7 Complete for Switch 2 later this year, bringing the long-running series to the console for the first time. Today, the publisher announced a mid-October launch date and unveiled a new trailer, titled “Anything Goes.” The game’s one “physical” edition pre-order is open now on the NIS America Online Store, though the game is one of those Game-Key Card editions rather than truly physical. This version, the Ewwdo Edition, also includes a collector’s box, a Lucky Slumber Cat, and a Nethertime Support Force folding fan.

Disgaea 7 Complete is the definitive edition of strategy RPG Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless, which includes the base game, all previously-released DLC, and brand new features and content. The stats have been uncapped, and the challenges are unprecedented.

Here is a description of the game from NIS America:

Return to Hinomoto in style! Pirilika, a super-rich demon with a love for all things bushido, travels to the Hinomoto Netherworlds to enjoy their rich culture and delicious food. But when she arrives, she finds that her precious “sowba” and “you-don” noodles have been replaced with pasta by the nefarious Demmodore Opener! With her beloved culture and cuisine destined to become relics of the past, Pirilika recruits the wayward warrior Fuji to help slap Hinomoto back to its senses!

Developed by Nippon Ichi Software and published in the West by NIS America, Disgaea 7 Complete will be released for Switch 2 on October 10.

She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
