Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution is about to tackle its final frontier: Steam! The RPG is already available for all major consoles, and today, Idea Factory International announced the game will be launched for PC in late August. The main difference between the versions is language options. Its PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions include English, French, and Spanish (Spain); its Xbox Series version adds Japanese to that list. The PC version includes all of those languages, plus it adds Traditional Chinese.
Here is a brief description of the game’s story, from Idea Factory International:
In a world of powerful rival Game Makers…
Within the Game Maker world, in order to acquire Shares, Game Makers have started to wage a battle for supremacy.
And so, a new Game Maker steps into the fray, attempting to endure the battle for survival in Gamindustri.
While there is new trailer to share with today’s launch date news, here is the game’s Opening Movie trailer, released last month:
Players take on the role of Older Nep and grow a defunct game studio into a huge success. Find strong developers to create cutting-edge video games and expand your market. Choose wisely, and your company can grow to become the biggest game studio of the year. Create games through disc development to boost your party stats, then sell them while riding a swanky purple motorcycle. As Older Nep, challenge enemies for special rewards or test your racing skills with time trials. But watch your back: other game studios want to take you down! Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution features a revamped battle system, chained attacks, and transformative specials.
Developed by Idea Factory/Compile Heart and published in the West by Idea Factory International, RPG Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution will be released digitally for PC via Steam on August 26. It is currently available digitally and physically for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series.
