Possessor(s) is now available for Switch 2

Fast-paced sidescroller Possessor first launched for PC and PlayStation last November, and last week, it also launched for Switch 2. The game is set in the ruins of Sanzu City and follows Luca, a teenager whose life is destroyed by an interdimensional catastrophe. After being gravely injured, she forms a pact with a powerful demon who needs a human host. Together, as they fight for survival, they will uncover the truth behind the disaster and confront what is at the centre of the city’s fractured heart.

Possessor(s) blends precision combat with exploration. It features stylish, combo-driven action and deep traversal mechanics. The world is detailed and interconnected. Explore devastated skyscrapers, flooded aquariums and other haunting environments.

Developed by Heart Machine and published by Devolver Digital, Possessor(s) launched for Switch 2 last week. It is also available for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5.

Outbound’s launch date has been moved up for PC and Xbox

After being delayed from an April release to one in May, Outbound will be available for certain players a few days earlier than expected. Outbound is dubbed a “cozyvival” adventure game. You are dropped into a utopian near-future with nothing but a basic camper van. Freedom is the destination. Customize your vehicle, harness nature’s power (solar, wind, and water energy), and live off-grid. You can also Scavenge, craft, grow your own food, and explore a rich world. Play alone or with up to four players.

Developed by Square Glade Games and published by Silver Lining Interactive, Outbound will be released for PC via Steam and Xbox Series on May 11. It will be released for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Switch on May 14.

inKONBINI: One Store, Many Stories launches as two editions

Slice-of-life narrative game inKONBINI: One Store, Many Stories launched for PC and consoles last week as two editions. The first in the standard edition (the base game). The second is the Digital Deluxe Edition, including the base game and the Yojoki Masters Supporters Pack DLC (three new costumes for Makoto and the Yojoki Masters manga, readable inside the game). The Yojoki Masters Supporters Pack DLC is also available separately for anyone who changes their mind after purchasing the base game.

Inspired by the quiet rhythms of a suburban Japanese convenience store in the early 1990s, inKONBINI follows Makoto Hayakawa as she spends a summer at her aunt’s shop, building connections with customers, navigating everyday routines, and discovering heartfelt stories shaped by player choice.

Developed by Nagai Industries and published by Beep Japan, inKONBINI: One Store, Many Stories is now available for PC via Steam/Epic, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Switch, Xbox Series, and Xbox One. Physical editions launch June 18.

Venn Studios announces Rogue Reigns

Rogue Reigns, a dark fantasy roguelike deckbuilder, was revealed last week through the game’s first gameplay trailer. The trailer features hand-drawn characters set against procedurally generated 3D environments and offers a first look at an innovative party-based combat system. Rogue Reigns reimagines traditional deckbuilding by shifting the focus from a single character to a party of three heroes. Each hero has unique decks, abilities, and turn order. Classes include Warrior, Wizard, Rogue, Paladin, and Warlock. Rewards are limited after every encounter: one hero will get stronger, and the other will not. Rogue Reigns will launch for PC and consoles in September.
