The key art for Wax Heads.

Curve Games and Patattie Games have announced that Wax Heads will be released this May. In the game, players head behind the counter of a struggling record shop. Here, they discover new music, connect with the local community, and help shape the store’s future. Wax Heads will launch for PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. A PC demo will be released during February’s Steam Next Fest.

Here is a description of the game, via Curve Games and Patattie Games:

In Wax Heads, players step into the role of the newest employee at Repeater Records – a legendary record shop known for always recommending the right vinyl to the right customer. As the shop struggles to survive in a changing world, players will chat with quirky customers to conscientiously find the perfect LP for them (or slack off with co-workers, the choice is yours!).

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
