Just Crow Things developer Unbound Creations has announced an April release date for its cozy clutter-cleaning sim, Cleaning Up! Take on the role of an aspiring Cleaning Gig Worker, who sets out on a quest for cleanliness with a broom and a vacuum in hand. Declutter trash-filled spaces and turn environments into clean, comfy places. Cleaning Up! will launch for PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
Here is the game’s description, via Unbound Creations:
A cleaner’s work is never done when it comes to the ultimate spotless space, and that means taking on all kinds of dirty jobs to leave the place glistening and shiny. Boot up the Clyner App and take on the dusty, spooky rooms of a creaky haunted mansion, making the place look alive again while avoiding dastardly ghosts who would prefer to live in depressing dirt. Navigate through a pristine art museum and clean house with the clutter left behind by careless visitors. Clean carefully, though, as one tiny bump will cause priceless vases to tumble to the ground, creating a bigger mess and a penalty on an otherwise perfect 5-star score.
A large selection of tools is available, ranging from a powerful vacuum/spray device to the ol’ mop and broom. Relax by scrubbing, sweeping, and vacuuming through various locations. Progress through the story to upgrade tools and buy cute new outfits, which are especially handy while trying to achieve high scores in previous stages.
“Cleaning Up is a game that scratches that itch in all of us, that undeniable satisfaction we get when it comes to taking the time to make our spaces clean and cozy,” said Jakub “Koobazaur” Kasztalski, Unbound Creations’ Founder, in a press release. “We set out to create a game that offers the joy of cleaning away clutter and the relaxation it offers in a fun game perfect for anyone looking to have a chill time. We can’t wait for people to discover the joy of cleaning!”
Developed and self-published by Unbound Creations, Cleaning Up! will be released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch (with Switch 2 compatibility) on April 15.
