The Western launch of sci-fi roguelite shooter Scar-Lead Salvation is two weeks away. The game’s story begins with a familiar trope: a woman wakes up with no memories in an unfamiliar place. There is an AI that seemingly wants to help, but can it even be trusted? Each floor features a procedurally generated layout. Death is inevitable, but you’ll always resurrect where it all started. Today, publisher Idea Factory International released information regarding the game’s digital Deluxe Edition and two DLC items.

The digital Deluxe Edition of Scar-Lead Salvation will be available at launch. It includes a digital copy of the game, the Seeker Glow DLC, the Photon Strike DLC, a 44-page digital artbook, and a 32-track digital soundtrack.
For those interested in the game and the DLC minus the other Deluxe Edition items, the Seeker Glow and Photon Strike DLC will be available for free from May 29 to June 12. Following the tutorial, players will immediately have access to Lv 5 Seeker Glow and Photon Strike weapons. These items will also be available to everyone without the DLC by progressing through the game.

When Willow Martin awakens with no memories in an unfamiliar room, she can’t figure out how she got there.
Without any semblance of who she is or where she came from, can she trust the AI who aids her? Or is it her enemy?
So begins her deadly battles against mechanical weapons in a bid to escape. But what truths lie at the end?

Developed by Idea Factory/Compile Heart/Neilo and published in the West by Idea Factory International, Scar-Lead Salvation will be released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on May 29. It will be available physically and digitally.
