School girl vs. zombie JRPG, Dead or School, is console bound

Dead or School is currently available via Early Access on Steam, by the developer, Studio Nanafushi, has now announced that there would be a console release as well. The game will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Dead or School is a hack and slash 2D action JRPG, which promises plenty of weapon and character customisation, big action, and more than a small dose of fan service. Because of course it would.

The game releases on August 29, and the developer is going all-out with it, as it will have both physical retail and digital releases. There’s no news of an English release just yet, but given that there is already a localisation (the PC game is available in English), I would be very surprised if the console version doesn’t get a global release too.

Based on those Steam Early Access reviews, this game actually has a “very positive” user rating, so it may well turn out to be a very good game indeed.
