As the release date of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch draws ever closer (March 20), Koei Tecmo has released yet another trailer of its beautiful women frolicking around on the beautiful tropical island game setting. And now they’re wearing cake.

The focus of this trailer is very much on the various costumes that you can buy for the ladies, ranging from standard swimwear through to some truly exotic stuff; the trailer shows one an “Arabian harem” costume, destructible clothing (take a big hit in beach volleyball and go from swimwear to… something less than swimwear), and a costume that I can only describe as cake inspired.

And I mean, that’s an inspired choice of a costume. Marie Rose and whipped cream go together just perfectly…

… ahem. The trailer also shows off the various activities you can get up to while on the island. Volleyball’s the most well known, but there’s also the casino, flag run, pool hopping, rock climbing, tug-of-war, butt battle and pole dancing. And when all of that gets tiring, you can simply kick back for an impromptu photo session with your favourite girl.

As a huge fan of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 on its original release, I can’t wait to have this enhanced version on my Switch.
