Little Dragons Cafe’s first screenshots are adorable

Last month we reported that the mind behind Harvest Moon and Birthdays, Yasuhiro Wada, was hard at work on his next game, a charming shop simulation called Little Dragons Cafe.

Now we have the first screenshots, and the game is indeed shaping up to be gorgeous. True to Wada’s style, the light, airy, pastel aesthetics really give the game a pastoral hominess about it, and this, coupled with the super cute dragons, should make for a game that’s an absolute delight to play.

Of course, we don’t know exactly how the game will play at this stage, other than that you are able to cook things and, presumably, run a shop. Wada’s last attempt at that style of game, Hometown Story, was not a great game despite being very charming and “Wada-like” in presentation, so we’re hoping this one can make amends when it launches on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

For now, though, enjoy the screenshots!
