The 24 games of Christmas! Game #6: Cuphead

1 min read

It’s that time of year again! The decorations are out, the house smells of Christmas thanks to the tree in the living room, presents are sitting under the tree and all the good food is on the table. We do love Christmas at DDNet, and as always, we’re doing an advent calendar of our own on the site. Each day we’re going to list one game that’s just perfect to play over the Christmas season, so be sure to check back each day to get all the gaming suggestions you’ll need for the season.

Game #6: Cuphead

Who says Christmas has to be a time for relaxation? Sometimes the most precious memories are the ones you forge with a little spare time and a lot of willpower. One of the most charming co-op games around, Cuphead boasts that level of challenge that is just fair and palatable enough to keep it from being sadistic. Stressful as it can be at times, this is the kind of lovely game that brings people together through shared failures and triumphs alike. For those not subjecting themselves, Cuphead’s art style makes it quite visually fetching to watch out of context, making it sort of a nifty conversation piece.
