Sekai Project is a licensing/publishing company that we have taken note of. Its game library is already astounding, with Japanese hits such as Clannad (which I adored) being made available to English-language audiences for the first time. Now it has partnered with Unwonted Studios (a Texas company developing high-end English visual novels) to bring us No One But You, a visual novel/dating sim about a high school student returning to his hometown.

No One But You tells the story of Hideaki, a student who has returned to his hometown after some time away. He begins to think of the town as his home again as he rediscovers old friends and meets new ones. Unfortunately, as he becomes comfortable with his life, Hideaki’s past comes back to haunt him and threatens to unravel everything he’s built. He’s not the only one with a secret though, and the secrets of others begin to effect him as well.

Every choice matters in No One But You, so it’s up to the player to decide how the story unfolds by making important decisions about how to act and interact. The game features original artwork as well as an original soundtrack, and is now available for PC via Steam.
