The Sunday Screenshot Gallery: The Final Fantasy XIV Edition

Sharing screenshots is fun. In fact, the screenshot feature is in many ways the best feature that has been added in to this generation of consoles. It’s fun to share gameplay experiences, amusing anecdotes from the games, a indulge a little of the inner photographer in us.

With that in mind, we’ve decided to start doing a screenshot gallery each week, where we pull ten of our favourite shots from games we’ve played. This is something we’d love for everyone in the community to participate in! If you’ve got favourite screenshots of your own, simply shoot them over to screens@digitallydownloaded.net, and we’ll get them up in the gallery the next week!

This week is a little different, as Matt has been madly playing FFXIV to try and catch up so he can review the Heavensward expansion. So, rather than do a gallery of ten or so different games, this week is all about his exploits over the week. This is one very screenshot-friendly game though, so that’s okay! We’ll be back to regularly-scheduled viewing next week!

My that’s a big mouth you’ve got going on there, Mr. Monster-Sir.

This is ridiculous. I’ve been sitting here waiting for my beer for a full hour. Start working, bartender!

I spy with my little eye an especially irritating boss enemy.

This dungeon is filled with poisonous gasses and the like… and is really quite beautiful.

Here you see me praying to my Chocobo. Because Chocobos rule us all.

That is one awesome party they’ve got going on in that city in the background.

I hate these frog things. Especially when they tag-team.

Okay, this is sad. That black thing is called Tiggy. I had a pet black cat called Tiggy. I’m sad now because Tiggy’s gone.

Having a break at the game’s marriage church thing. My character still needs to get hitched 🙁

I have the best taste in cold weather fashion.
