This time of year is brilliant for parties, isn’t it?

We’d like to wish all of our readers a happy and safe 2013! We all survived the Mayan apocalypse, so now it’s time to look onwards to what we hope will be a productive and game-filled 2013.

It’s certainly shaping up well already. We’ve got new hardware on the market with the Wii U, and it’s turning heads. We can expect at E3 this year Microsoft and Sony will both announce their next-generation hardware. We’re going to see the Apple iPhone and (especially) iPad continue to challenge traditional consoles for both quality and quantity of great games.

Regardless of your gaming preferences, we hope that the next year fulfills everything that you look for in games.

And of course we look forward to covering it all right here!
