Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment has just unleashed a compilation of 30+ Midway classics on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

We first caught wind of this one a while back and now Midway Arcade Origins is officially available. The collection, which was developed by Backbone Entertainment, includes a load of the best arcade titles of the golden age of the standup cabinet.

What’s in it? Deep breath:

  • Defender
  • Gauntlet
  • Joust
  • Rampage
  • Total Carnage
  • 720°
  • A.P.B.
  • Arch Rivals
  • Bubbles
  • Championship Sprint
  • Tournament Cyberball 2072
  • Defender II
  • Gauntlet II
  • Joust 2
  • Marble Madness
  • Pit-Fighter
  • Rampart
  • Robotron 2084
  • Root Beer Tapper
  • Satan’s Hollow
  • Sinistar
  • Smash TV
  • Spy Hunter
  • Spy Hunter II
  • Super Off Road
  • Super Sprint, Toobin’
  • Vindicators Part II
  • Wizard of Wor
  • Xenophobe
  • Xybots
All the games shown above will feature online leaderboards, achievements/trophies, and local multiplayer. Online multi isn’t supported, which is kind of a bummer, but these kinds of games are always more fun when you’re in the same room anyway.

Midway Arcade Origins is out now for the Xbox 360 and PS3 for $29.99 USD. There’s no word yet on whether a digital release will be available anytime soon, but I’ll say this – these games’d be pretty sweet on the PS Vita. Make it happen WB!
