Magic the Gathering creator, Richard Garfield, starts Kickstarter of his own

Another day, another good cause for gamers to support. This time the mind behind Magic the Gathering is counting on your support.

His game is an iPhone/ iPad project, called Map Monsters. This is a game that, as the name suggests, makes heavy use of GPS functionality and turns the real world into a virtual board.

The game has already been in development for 12 months, and the team is looking to raise $40,000 to get them over the line and get the game out. So far it’s raised $1,590 with 30 days left to go.
