Starving NPC's should be a game option. I give the broke ones money so they can eat when I start a new town.

This looks pretty entertaining, but I've always liked a good dungeon crawl game. Still, considering you can get other games of similar nature at a lower price, it's one I'll probably hold off on until I either get through my game backlog and/or it becomes available at a better sale price.
I see you mentioned Sacred 2 – what were your thoughts on that? I believe IGN 6.5'd it and Amazon customers gave it a 3 star rating. I've been seeing it bounce around at my nearby Gamestop for about $14, and I keep considering it – just haven't picked it up yet.

I really enjoyed Sacred 2. It's not without flaws, but it is a massive, massive game with a hell of a lot of content. It's one of those games that if you get into, it's easily a 100+ hour game.
If you're into dungeon crawlers, you'll probably get something out of Sacred, especially since it's so cheap now.

Well, that sounds like me alright, lol. One of the reasons I go through review droughts – I tend to gravitate toward these huge games. 🙂
