A Game of Thrones is looking really, really good

Fantasy buffs are going to lap this up: George R.R. Martin’s modern classic, A Game of Thrones, is not only coming to TV courtesy of HBO, but is also invading PCs with a new strategy game.

Strategy is the right pick for A Game of Thrones. The books are, after all, bulky epics that focus on history changing events, rather than individual characters. And, because Mr Martin went out of his way to make his characters as likable (or unlikable) as each other, just about everyone who has read the novels will have a preferred story to track.

And it looks good, too, as this set of screenshots shows. We’ll keep you updated as the game’s release date draws closer.

  • As a fan of the books series (who doesn't have HBO and hasn't had a chance to watch the new show series) – I'm looking forward to this game quite a bit. The screenshots look awesome. 🙂
