The ‘sandbox survival adventure game’ from Reverb and HandyMan Studios is on the way to PC soon. How about a peek at the ‘box art’ and some new screens while you wait?

Edge of Space is an open-world, dynamically-generated sandbox survival-adventure game set in deep space where humans were ever meant to travel. The entire game is built from the ground-up with multiplayer in mind, and the reactive environments ensure that all activities (crafting, building, setting traps, healing, etc.) are fast-paced and intense.

Edge of Space is unique, and that’s to say the least. I really can’t think of another game like it. Crafting your own levels is one thing, but doing it in a side-scrolling setting and with an eye towards multiplayer is another. And the space sharks with the laser guns? Why those are just genius. Plain and simple.

Edge of Space is up on Steam Greenlight right now in all its insane glory. If you’d like to vote for it to help add the game to Steam’s catalog, click here.

Just want to play? You can grab the PC beta right now on Desura or Rain Digital at the preorder price of $9.99 USD, that’s a savings of about five bucks over the price tag when the game finally launches- then it’ll nestle right in at $14.99 USD.
