Publisher eastasiasoft has announced it will publish two Red Ego Games titles, Cup of Tales and YAMIGATARI: FOR3ST. Visual novel Cup of Tales will launch on PC during this holiday season, with console versions planned for 2027. Horror-themed side-scrolling adventure game YAMIGATARI: FOR3ST will launch for consoles this December.
Cup of Tales
While working alongside café owner Mia, serve coffee, listen to customer stories, and help them through their struggles. These stories seem completely unrelated at first, but over one night, they reveal a conspiracy involving the city’s most powerful tech company, CypherCorp. Choose your dialogue, build relationships, and bring the community together. Brew coffee by selecting the ingredients, then using your equipment and timing your actions. Upgrade the kitchen to unlock new ingredients and recipes. The story unfolds over 10 chapters, with a colourful cast of characters.

YAMIGATARI: FOR3ST
This retro pixel art psychological horror game features side-scrolling elements. On her third night of camping, Nora awakens from a dream that calls her into the darkness, and the peaceful outing turns into a nightmare. Guide Nora as she tries to escape the horror deep within the woods. Solve puzzles and collect clues about what is in pursuit. Investigate graves, shrines, a locked tunnel, a well, and more creepy places in the dark woods to find clues. The player’s choices determine which of seven endings are received.
