ATMOSFAR’s Early Access launch has been delayed
Earlier this month, I wrote about a May launch date for sci-fi survival adventure game ATMOSFAR in Early Access. However, within days, Shueisha Games and Apog Labs announced that the title would be delayed to the summer months. “Despite our best efforts to reach the original May 20th launch date, we’ve sadly had to make the decision to take additional time to ensure that your first flight across Tycos is as smooth and free of turbulence as possible,” said Olof Kindblad, Head of Studio at Apog Labs, in a press release.
“During production, ATMOSFAR’s ambition, scope and creative direction [have] grown a lot,” continues Kindblad. “Our vision has always remained the same, but development detours required to create a really great game can sometimes take more time than expected. We can clearly see the positive impact that this extra development time will have on polish and refinement, and we can’t wait for you to experience ATMOSFAR in a few months.”
Developed by Apog Labs and published by Shueisha Games, ATMOSFAR will be released in Early Access for PC via Steam/Epic in a few months.
The Prometheus DLC has launched for FATE: Reawakened
Experience the cult-classic world of FATE with a mythological twist in its Prometheus DLC, which is now available. It is inspired by Greek mythology and adds new pets, new dungeons, and a new town to explore.
Here is the DLC’s description, via gamigo:
Another adventure is on the horizon as players learn of a mysterious woman who’s appeared at the Temple of Fate. Named Alethe, she’s an oracle who tells of a calamity that has fallen upon the once prosperous city of Prometheus. Erebos, the Titan of Darkness, has thrown the world into chaos by stealing the Golden Flame — a revered gift from the Gods that granted the city’s denizens with knowledge, protection, and everlasting prosperity. Now FATE calls upon the player once again, beckoning them forward to reclaim the Golden Flame and save Prometheus from being cast into eternal shadow.
FATE: Reawakened revitalizes the iconic dungeon-crawling quadrilogy with a complete graphical overhaul and expanded language support. It includes the original game and three sequels, FATE: Undiscovered Realms, FATE: The Traitor Soul, and FATE: The Cursed King.
Developed by Tableflip and published by gamigo, FATE: Reawakened is available for PC via Steam/Epic, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
Words-to-life Puzzler Wordbound is coming to PC
Vancouver-based studio Kettle Games has announced that its viral game Wordbound will launch for PC and revealed a new gameplay teaser trailer. The game began in 2019, when Andy Bacon posted a video of a VR word game prototype on social media, where it went viral. The video featured 3D objects stretched to transform into words comprised of letter tiles, and words were squished into 3D objects. In January 2025, he founded Kettle Games to follow through on the original prototype.
Here is a description of Wordbound, via Kettle Games:
Wordbound is a squish-a-licious puzzle game where the world is made of words. Pull apart objects to see how they’re spelled, remix those into something new, then squish them together once again to create thousands of potential objects. Embark on a mind-bending journey to unscramble the world and unleash your creative spark, or unleash your creativity by creating your own scenes.
Developed by Kettle Games in partnership with Creature, Wordbound will be released for PC via Steam and Meta Quest.
