Resident Evil Survival Unit publisher Aniplex describes Mountain Hunt in a press release, stating, “With its hauntingly beautiful vocals by Avu-chan and a sound that blends urgency with mystique, the track vividly portrays the tension between hunter and hunted — perfectly mirroring the game’s world where creatures and characters collide.”

While not developed directly by Capcom, Resident Evil Survival Unit is based on the renowned series. Set in a parallel universe where survival horror is replaced with real-time strategy, it presents an original storyline built upon the beloved world while diverging from the original series. The game promises a deep, immersive strategy experience that blends real-time decision-making with the thrill of survival.

Co-developed by Aniplex and JOYCITY Corporation (and published by Aniplex), Resident Evil Survival Unit is scheduled to be released for iOS/Android later this year.
